Balanced Breakfast returns to SXSW with two free unofficial showcases at Woody’s Bar on Friday, March 13th (4–10 PM) and Saturday, March 14th (1–10 PM). Fans can RSVP to enjoy a full day of emerging artists, while bands and solo performers are invited to apply for consideration.

We will select 11 bands and 24 solo artists from all submissions. Approved acts receive a 40-minute set, plus opportunities for “Singers in the Round” sessions and solo features on our second stage. The event is fully backlined with drums, guitar and bass amps, and full sound support. Artists may sell merch onsite. The showcase is 21+ and free to attend. We do no book DJsand applying does not guarantee placement.

Balanced Breakfast is a national music industry community founded in San Francisco, dedicated to connecting musicians, producers, managers, promoters, and creators through in-person meetups, showcases, and educational events.
