About Babe Station

Babe Station is an evolving art and research project exploring the relationship between making art and motherhood. It aims to support and give space to any person who identifies as a mother or has experienced child loss through discussions, workshops, events and exhibitions. In March 2025, Babe Station curated 'Sorry about the mess', a large-scale exhibition on Shaftesbury Avenue, supported by Bow Arts and featuring over 20 artists and writers who are also mothers. The Babe Station Live series of events launched in November 2025 at Bo Lee and Workman in Bruton, Somerset.

About SLQS Gallery

Founded by Sarah Le Quang Sang, SLQS Gallery aims to foster an inclusive and intentional ethos. Through a considered and targeted programme, the gallery looks to disrupt outdated frameworks, such as neatly defined industry classifications “emerging” and “mid-career”, which often exclude artists balancing caregiving responsibilities or working outside conventional timelines.

Mia Wilkinson: HEAD OF THE TABLE runs until 17 January 2026.
