Ayr Motorcycle `Road Safety Roadshow

Join us in Ayr for the first of five Motorcycle Road Safety Roadshows delivered by Motorcycle Law Scotland and partners across Scotland. After the success of the 2025 series attended by more than 1,000 riders, we are back with brand-new locations and an expanded programme.

This free event brings together experts from across road policing, fire and rescue, advanced riding, engineering, crash investigation and legal practice. Presentations and demonstrations include:

• The Life of a Claim – Understanding interactions with insurers, witnesses, medical professionals and solicitors.
• Helmet Removal Demonstration – What to do when first on the scene.
• Road Casualty Data & Causation – Insights into contributory factors, collision trends and risk areas.
• Post-Accident Aftermath – Criminal investigation processes and reporting to the Crown Office & Procurator Fiscal Service.
• Rider Refinement & Advanced Riding Skills – How structured training can improve safety and confidence (IAM RoadSmart, RoSPA and more).
• Mechanical Roadworthiness Check – What every rider should know to ensure their bike is fit for the road.
