Awakening Divine Creativity: The Joyful Arts as Spiritual Practice

Uplift your spirit through shared reflection, creative expression, and artistic exploration. Creativity can be a meaningful pathway to self-understanding. Each week offers an experiential immersion in a different form of expression, inviting you to explore new ways of connecting with your inner life and with others.

As Swami Kriyananda notes in Art as a Hidden Message, creativity can open the heart, refine awareness, and support personal growth. We’ll explore how the creative spirit expresses itself through movement, language, drama, and song, and how these practices can help us feel more present, connected, and whole.

Each session is an opportunity to experiment, express, and share in a supportive, welcoming community. All are invited—no prior artistic experience or spiritual background needed.

• Week 1 – Dance and Movement: Expressing divine energy through the body as a channel of joy.
• Week 2 – Poetry and the Word: Discovering the power of language as a vessel for inspiration and deeper truths.
• Week 3 – Theater Arts: Using dramatic play as a way to awaken self-awareness, cooperation, and spontaneity.
• Week 4 – Music and Song: Attuning to the inner sound current through melody, rhythm, and devotional harmony.
