Austen by Candlelight

Welcome to Austen by Candlelight at Prescot Parish Church! Join us on January 24, 2026 at 7:30 PM for a magical evening filled with wonderful music inspired by Jane Austen, whether that's pieces known to be her personal favourites, or music used for film and television adaptations of her books. Immerse yourself in the ambiance of the era as we play a selection of music by Handel, Mozart, Carl Davis and many more in the stunning surrounding of Prescot Parish Church. Don't miss this unique experience to step back in time and enjoy the beauty of Austen's world. See you there!

The concert will feature performers Abigail and Zak Birch-Price on a selection of instruments, including violin, flute, harp and keyboard.

The venue is fully accessible and toilets are available. Parking is limited but available for blue badge holders.
