Tregony Contemporary is proud to present 'Assemble * 26', its seventh London exhibition and the first of a new decade for the gallery.

Taking place in our tenth anniversary year, the exhibition reflects the journey of a gallery that has grown from a small Cornish space into a nationally recognised platform for contemporary painting.

Assemble * 26 brings together artists whose practices, though diverse in style and sensibility, share a deep engagement with material, process, and form. The dialogue between abstraction and figuration remains central, but what emerges most strongly is a shared sensitivity to touch, atmosphere, and the world observed and remembered. By placing these voices in conversation, the exhibition highlights not only the vitality of contemporary painting but also the distinctive curatorial approach that has defined Tregony Contemporary over the past ten years.

Founded in 2015 by gallery directors Brian and Judi Green, Tregony Contemporary is an artist -run gallery nestled in the scenic coastal town of St Mawes on Cornwall’s Roseland Peninsula. With an impressive roster of both local and International artists, Brian and Judi have cultivated a platform that celebrates technical brilliance, originality, and depth. Maintaining a close bridge between Cornwall and London. Their program of exhibitions and artist talks has gained them a loyal following among local visitors and global collectors alike, earning critical acclaim in the media worldwide and cementing its reputation as one of Cornwalls’ most distinctive art destinations.
