Gain insider access to DC arts professionals as they share the expertise, passion, and stories behind their work.

Join us on Thursday, January 22 at 6:30 PM for the first conversation in our 2026 Artists at Work Speakers Series! We’re going behind-the-scenes with Jeff Bazemore, senior production manager at Arena Stage.

Artists at Work brings together arts-lovers like you with the diverse professionals who make it happen. Through intimate conversations, our speakers share the expertise, passion, and human stories behind their work – insights that captivate audiences who are passionate about the arts but rarely get this insider access.

To kick off the new year, we're sitting down with JEFF BAZEMORE, national leader in technical theater and senior production manager at Arena Stage, in conversation with our dynamic new series moderator NYLA MARIE MICKEL, college student, talented emerging actor, and Sitar alum. Join us as they explore the fascinating world of designing and building sets, props, lights, sounds, and costumes. Jeff will share his inspiring journey of bringing your favorite performances to life, as well as answer our pressing questions.

This in-person event is free, but registration is required. Space is limited.
