What To Expect:
Bio
ArtAndTea is a creative gathering built around reflection, conversation, and making in community. Each session centers a new theme, inviting participants to explore ideas through writing, discussion, and hands-on artistic practice.
This month we look to the past as a platform for the present drawing inspiration from Black Film Archives and considering how history is held. Through free-writing and tactile exploration, we’ll examine memory, storytelling, and the ways creativity connects us to what came before.
ArtAndTea is a space to slow down and unwind, to sit with what’s on your mind, and to process it alongside others. As we close out American Black History Month, we invite everyone to the studio to share tea, craft, and conversation. However you choose to create, words, sketches, collage, or simply reflection, you’re welcome here, to share tea, plantain and crafting conversation.
