Cocktails are more than recipes—they are chemistry, balance, memory, and intention in a glass. Art of the Craft is a workshop-style class designed to slow the process down and pull the curtain back on why cocktails work, not just how to make them.
Inspired by the original 1806 definition of the cocktail—spirits, sugar, water, and bitters—this immersive experience blends historical context with modern technique. Over the course of 3.5 hours, students will explore flavor science, understand how the flavor wheel functions in real-world cocktail building, and practice the artistry that separates a good drink from a great one.
This is not a sit-and-sip class. This is a guided, hands-on workshop focused on skill building, blending, infusing, and intentional construction. Together, we’ll create two unique, balanced craft cocktails, explore obscure but approachable flavor combinations, and work through the logic behind structure, texture, aroma, and finish.
Students will leave with tools, resources, and confidence—whether you’re a bartender refining your craft or a cocktail enthusiast ready to level up.
