Art is Collective

Connect and Create: Join the collective for a collaborative, large-scale window drawing session. Come together to share in the creative process and help bring this public artwork to life, and view an exhibition of the members’ work.

Art is Collective is a group of artists who meet every Thursday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at 2 Royal Avenue to support one another's creative practice.

The group was born out of a vital need for assisted studio space for artists who require additional support due to mental health or disability challenges. Since its inception, it has evolved into a vibrant community. Members now engage in prestigious residencies, spending summers in the Belfast School of Art studios, and showcase their work through solo, duo, and group exhibitions.

The collective is facilitated by Alastair MacLennan, Ngaire Jackson, Bronagh Lawson, and Coby Moore.
