Join us to create ethereal jellyfish parasols to carry in the lantern parade at Aqualumina on May 9!

Please join us to create ethereal jellyfish to carry in Aqualumina’s lantern parade on May 9, 2026. This workshop is led by visual artist Rebecca Kelly.

Participants will use ribbon, fairy lights, and other materials on parasols to create their own unique design. You may bring any fabric scraps or special adornments you have in mind (no glitter, please). Participants will use a hot glue gun -- children under 14 should be assisted by an adult.

Limit 15 participants per session. The workshop is $20. Each registered participant will be taking home one parasol to bring to the Festival!

Rebecca Kelly will host two jellyfish parasol workshop on Sundays, Feb 1 & 8. ArtYard staff will lead future jellyfish parasol workshops (dates coming soon!).

Aqualumina is a nighttime riverside lantern festival of music, visual art, and community, and a celebration of the beauty and vulnerability of the Delaware River and river systems worldwide.
