Katriona O'Sullivan, author of Poor, joins us to launch Hungry, a raw, emotional account of her struggle to find self-acceptance

Katriona O'Sullivan, author of Poor, joins us to launch her follow-up, Hungry, a raw and emotional account of her struggle to find self-acceptance.

Katriona's new book explores the private struggles behind the public ones, interrogating the ways trauma, class and gender shape how women's self-image - and how that has played out in her own life, and her own journey from a childhood of abuse, addiction, and teenage motherhood to success as an author and professor.

Katriona will be talking about her own life and journey, as well as the broader social picture underlying and influencing it, before signing copies of her books.
