An Evening with Author Rob King

Local author, Rob King, joins us to talk about Sendina's Prophecy! This is the exciting follow-up to The Door in the Stone, the first in the middgle grade fantasy series. Following the talk, there will be time for Q&A and book signing. Books will be available for purchase at the event.

In the sequel to The Door in the Stone, war rages in the heart of Klavenland.

The companions race through The Forest to help their stranded friends and families in a mounting series of battles and adventures. They confront dangerous new enemies and confront old friends. Larkin discovers a buried secret that changes his life and the companions undertake a daring rescue mission. They uncover peices of Sendina's ancient prophecy, but they are left wondering: is the prohecy about them, or is it about the descruction of Klavenland?

About the author:

Rob King is the play-by-play voice of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the primary pregame and postgame television host for the Pittsburgh Pirates. An Emmy Award winner, King has covered high school, college, and professional sports in Pittsburgh since 2000. An English Literature major in college, Rob is now an author as well. He has released his debut novel, "The Door in the Stone", the first book in a fantasy trilogy aimed at middle grade students but designed to be enjoyed by readers of all ages.
