Jewish Peaceniks present our 4th Gaza fundraiser: a programme of films spanning history from the creation of Israel/the Nakba to the present

This image from our first film could have been taken in Gaza today but is in fact a screenshot from a documentary film called Sands of Sorrow made in 1950 by the Council for the Relief of Palestine Arab Refugees.

In our second film, How the Israeli State Brainwashes Children, educator Hadas Emma Kedar gives a vivid description of her experiences as a pupil and later as a teacher in the Israeli education system and 'the deeply troubling ways it has "taught” students misleading versions of Israeli history.

Our third film, The Palestine Laboratory, illustrates how the dehumanisation of the Palestinian people over decades of a brutal occupation has been exploited for financial gain by Israel in its arms and surveillance industry.

Once again we invite our audiences to share their responses to these films after the screening in an atmosphere of friendship and solidarity.

All proceeds will go to Taawan, the largest orphan care programme in Gaza, and to Palestine Children’s Relief that delivers urgent medical and other care, all under the aegis of the Together For Palestine Fund set up by Choose Love.

@Jewish Peaceniks

We are a small grassroots organisation of older Jewish women who since October 7 2023 have been curating events to oppose what is being perpetrated against the Palestinian population in Gaza and beyond.
