A guided community conversation exploring thought-provoking media and real, grounded dialogue.

Nurture Thee Culture presents — Mutual Minds, a conversation gathering for people who want to go deeper.

We’re living in a moment where nuance is often dismissed, thinking is rushed, and conversation can feel like competition. This space exists as an alternative place for real reflection, shared meaning-making, and intellectual nourishment that doesn’t ask you to perform, debate, or defend your humanity.

Each gathering explores a theme through three pieces of media (a video, a written piece, and a piece of art/music). We take time to observe, reflect, and connect what we’re seeing to our lived experiences.

To get the most out of our gathering, please engage with the media ahead of time. Links and resources will be provided in your registration confirmation. Bring your thoughts, questions, and reflections to share with the group!

This is not a debate space. This is a community care space where we:

  • Listen to understand (not to win)
  • Practice curiosity + grounded conversation
  • Honor different ways of knowing and learning

This space centers Black people and women. Others are welcome if they align with the culture of the room.

People who:

  • Enjoy thoughtful dialogue
  • Want to come together across identity, background & lived experience
  • Value emotional intelligence and intellectual care
  • Are open to learning and expanding perspectives
  • Want a community that values these things

People who should not attend:

  • Those who come to “play devil’s advocate.”
  • Those who dominate or disrupt group spaces
  • Those seeking to debate identity or lived experience

We’re building a warm, thoughtful community. Thank you for bringing your energy with care.
