This two-day Advanced Pistol course is designed for shooters who already possess solid fundamentals and are ready to push performance to a higher standard. This is not a fundamentals refresher. This course is about measurable performance, accountability, and execution under increasing cognitive and physical stress.

Students will be challenged to shoot faster, more accurately, and more consistently—while managing decision-making, movement, and real-world shooting problems. Performance will be validated against established standards, not opinions.

Over two intensive days, we will refine efficiency in gun handling, improve speed without sacrificing accountability, and develop the ability to solve shooting problems under pressure.

Course Focus Areas

• Advanced grip, recoil management, and visual discipline

• Draw speed and first-shot accountability

• Shooting at speed with strict accuracy requirements

• Target transitions and cadence control

• Movement into, out of, and between shooting positions

• Shooting on demand vs. rehearsed performance

• Standards-based evaluations to track progress

• Pressure application to expose weaknesses and reinforce consistency

This course emphasizes objective performance metrics. Students will leave with a clear understanding of where they stand, what needs improvement, and how to train with purpose moving forward.

Prerequisites

• Solid understanding of pistol fundamentals

• Safe and consistent draw from the holster

• Prior formal training strongly recommended

• This course is not suitable for brand-new shooters

Equipment Requirements

• Reliable handgun (duty or concealed carry)

• Quality belt and holster (no Serpa-style holsters)

• Minimum of 1,000 rounds of ammunition

• Eye and ear protection

• Weather-appropriate clothing
