
Join us as we celebrate Warm Welcome Week in Surrey in the company of one of our most celebrated and exciting crime fiction novelists, Linda Regan. Linda is an actress and author and will be reading some of her own short stories as part of the launch of Warm Welcome Week at Esher Library.
Linda's latest crime novels include The Terror Within and 'The Burning Question'. Linda will be talking about her career as a crime fiction novelist and there will be the opportunity to purchase copies of her books.
Linda Regan trained as an actress and is remembered for her appearances in television and film including Quadrophenia, General Hospital, The Knock and perhaps her best known role as April in BBC Television's Comedy Hi Di Hi.
Tea and light refreshments will be served by Library Volunteers as part of the warm welcome initiative. Warm Welcome Week starts on Monday 19 th January to Sunday 26th January 2026 and celebrates the use of Surrey Libraries as community spaces as part of the Warm Welcome Scheme.
