Led in French, this guided tour explores major French modern movements, as presented in the museum newly installed 20th-century galleries

From Fauvism to abstraction, to the rise of Surrealism in Paris, this tour traces the powerful cross-cultural exchanges that transformed art in the 20th century. Featuring works by artists such as Paul Gauguin, Henri Matisse, René Magritte, Remedios Varo, and Alexander Calder, along with other artists featured in the galleries ,you will explore how bold experiments in color, form, and imagination shaped modern art across borders.

After the tour, guests are invited to continue the conversation over a drink at the museum café. Isabelle looks forward to answering your questions.

Please be ready at the meeting point at 2:15 p.m. so the tour can begin at 2:30 p.m. sharp.

Meeting point: Inside the MFA, next to the Sharf Visitor Center desk.
