ACADIA 2025 Workshops: COMPUTING for RESILIENCE

Online & In-Person • Monday–Wednesday, November 3–5, 2025 (Miami)

As part of the ACADIA 2025 conference “COMPUTING for RESILIENCE: Expanding Community Knowledge & Impact,” we’re offering a curated series of hands-on workshops led by expert instructors from around the world. Workshops foreground resilient design methods, intelligent fabrication, and emerging AI/robotics workflows across theory and practice.

Format & schedule

• Workshops run Mon–Wed, Nov 3–5, 2025, before the main conference (Nov 6–8).
• Offerings are either In-Person (Miami) or Online—see each ticket for details.
• Each workshop is a full-day, multi-day commitment (3 days). Because sessions run concurrently, you can register for one workshop only.

Who should attend
Architects, designers, fabricators, researchers, and students interested in AI-augmented design, environmental simulation, robotic making, and critical theory.

Pricing & ticket types (varies by workshop; select the matching ticket under the workshop name). Exact prices and capacities are listed in the Tickets section of each workshop (e.g., some In-Person workshops are $300–$500 Pro / $150–$250 Student; Online workshops typically range $100–$300 Pro / $50–$150 Student). Seats are limited.

Software & setup
Unless otherwise stated in the workshop description, participants must:

• Install required software on their own laptops before day 1.
• Secure any needed licenses (trial/educational licenses are usually sufficient for the workshop duration).
  Please review the “Software Requirements” in your workshop’s description prior to registering.

Capacity & eligibility

• Attendance is limited to support high-quality, hands-on instruction.
• Some workshops have prerequisites or hardware needs; check the description.

Refund policy
Refunds are available up to one week before the workshop start date. After that, tickets are non-refundable.
