26th February – Open Event for 14-16 year olds, Wigston Campus

At NWSLC, we recognise that a traditional classroom setting may not be suitable for everyone. That’s why we offer a flexible, supportive environment for 14–16-year-olds who need something a little different alongside their Home education studies.

Our College Open Event is designed for parents and students aged 14–16 who are seeking a more flexible and supportive learning environment, where the unique qualities a young person brings to the classroom are valued.

Explore hands-on courses, smaller learning groups, and pathways that build confidence, skills, and motivation. Visitors can arrive at the college from 4:00pm to have a look around and speak with staff. During the evening, there will be two presentation sessions (4:30pm and 5:45pm), allowing you to choose the time that works best for you.

About Wigston Campus

Home to our general courses and specialist spa centre, our Wigston Campus (formerly South Leicestershire College) is a state-of-the-art £43 million facility with a purpose-built engineering department and numerous other resources such as a gym, library, construction workshop and nursery.

We are situated opposite the Tesco in South Wigston, just 10 minutes away from South Wigston Train Station. We have a FREE onsite car park, and you can also reach us via public buses. We also run a Market Harborough and Husbands Bosworth college bus.
