Get ready for an exciting evening of teamwork, learning, and laughter at the York County Horse Trivia Night! This quiz bowl–style contest is designed to be fun, friendly, and welcoming for all experience levels. Bring your horse knowledge, work with your team, and enjoy a no-stress competition that celebrates learning and sportsmanship.

Whether you’re a seasoned horse enthusiast or just starting out, Horse Trivia Night is a great way to learn, connect, and have fun with fellow 4-H members!


Contest Rules:

  • We follow SC 4-H Horse Bowl Rules and Regulations as guidelines.
  • Divisions are as follows:
  • Novice - Youth have not competed in any 4-H Horse Bowl Contest at the state level. Open to ages 9-18.
  • Junior - Youth have competed at a 4-H Horse Bowl Contest at the state level. Open to ages 9-13.
  • Senior - Youth have compted at a 4-H Horse Bowl Contest at the state level. Open to ages 14-18.
  • Cloverbud - Open to any youth ages 5-8.

Membership requirement: Current 4-H membership is not required for participation in this event, but you must preregister.

Custodial Care: Please note that this event and its coordinators do not assume custodial care of youth in attendance. Adults (parents, guardians, volunteers, coaches, or chaperones) must be present for the supervision of youth participants.
