2026 Pockin' on the Bayou Festival 5k

Lace up your running shoes and kick off this year's Pockin' on the Bayou Festival on Saturday, April 4, 2026 with our annual 5k and Fun Run/Walk sponsored by The Cottonport Bank.

The race will begin and end at Unity Park on Cottonport Avenue (in between the Cottonport Bank Administration Building and Western Auto). The agenda for race day is as follows:

7:00 - 7:45am - Check-in and day-of registration

8:00am - Race begins

Registration fee is $35, which includes a Festival t-shirt if registered by March 20, 2026. Participants who register after March 20, 2026 are not guaranteed a Festival t-shirt in their selected size.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards will be given for each division except the 2 mile walk. The divisions will be as follows:

1 Mile Youth Run:

Girls (13 & under)

Boys (13 & under)

5k Run:

Youth Girls (17 & under)

Youth Boys (17 & under)

Women (18 to 25)

Women (26 to 39)

Women (40 +)

Men (18 to 25)

Men (26 to 39)

Men (40 +)

2 Mile Walk Only:

Men & Women (All Ages)
