2026 Culver Winterfest Polar Plunge

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

Polar Plunge Participant Check In:12-12:45 PM. ALL Polar Plunge participants need to arrive between 12-12:45 pm for registration at Beach Lodge Concession Stand. Registration/check in ends @ 12:45 pm. If you pre-registered, we will still need you to sign the waiver at the event.

Polar Plunge Participant Jumping: 1 pm. Location: Culver Beach (819 E Lakeshore Dr. Culver, IN 46511).

Polar Plunge: 12-2 pm Location: Culver Beach (819 E Lakeshore Dr. Culver, IN 46511). Jump into Lake Maxinkuckee through the ice!!! First 50 participants will receive a Culver Winterfest towel.

Want to get a little more creative and fun? Put on a costume and grab a friend!

The Culver & Union Township Fire Department will be present. Registration required (registration link below!). Polar Plunge participant registration and waiver signing will take place between 12-12:45 pm. ALL PARTICIPANTS (pre-registered and day of registrants) need to arrive between 12-12:45 pm.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

• 2026 Polar Plunge: Sunday, February 15th from 12-2 pm on Lake Maxinkuckee. Registration and check-in at the Beach Lodge beach concession stand.
• Jump into Lake Maxinkuckee with dozens of others! Don’t forget to wear a fun costume and bring along some friends, family members or even coworkers.
• First 50 registrants receive a Winterfest towel. Free hot cocoa for all participants after they plunge!
• Each registrant must fill out a waiver in-person at the event. If you are under 18 years, please make sure a parent/guardian is present to assist with signing your waiver. Waiver and check-in is at the Beach Lodge beach concession stand.
• The Winterfest committee will decide whether the lake is frozen/safe enough to walk on. The Culver & Union Township Fire Department will be on duty during the entirety if the event.
