The Bradford County Fairgrounds will be hosting a livestock judging contest that will entail 6-8 classes, reasons, and questions!

The Bradford County Fairgrounds will be hosting a 4-H & FFA livestock judging contest that will include 6-8 classes, reasons, and questions.

Youth will judge cattle, swine, and goat classes. Questions and reasons will also take part in the contest. All youth are welcome to participate.

Check-in will start at 9:00 AM and the contest will start shortly afterwards.

This contest is also a part of the Florida Livestock Judging Circuit Points System.

Youth Participants Age Breakdown:

  • Juniors: Ages 8-10 as of September 1st, 2024 (no reasons)
  • Intermediates: Ages 11-13 as of September 1st, 2024 (1 set of reasons)
  • Seniors: Ages 14-18 as of September 1st, 2024 (1-2 sets of reasons)
  • Teams will consist of 3-4 youths and the lowest score (4th score) will be dropped.

Individual contestants will only be able to participate in the individual awards.

Awards will be given at the conclusion of the contest! We are planning to also feed the youth who participate.

Registration deadline is March 3rd at 12:00 PM (noon).

Changes and additions for alternates can be made at check-in.

No teams will be added after the deadline.
