15th January - At Swim-Two-Birds - Flann O’Brien - The Foundry Book Club

Nuzhat, a valued member of our local community, will be hosting the Foundry’s January Book Club.

This month, we’ll be exploring At Swim-Two-Birds by Flann O’Brien, a brilliantly inventive novel that blends satire, metafiction, and Irish folklore.

We encourage everyone to get hold of a copy and start reading as soon as possible so you can fully engage in the conversation. In our next meeting, we’ll share interpretations, favorite passages, and personal reflections on the story and its characters. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Flann O’Brien or discovering his work for the first time, it’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow readers and enjoy a lively, thought-provoking discussion.
