The BIG Shabbat

On November 21, 2025, The Temple Emanu-El Streicker Centers in partnership with the UJA-Federation will host a community-wide event where we will bring 3,000 people of all ages together at North Javits to break the Guinness World Records for the largest Shabbat dinner.

From candle lighting to dancing, singing to dessert – guests will share a joyful Shabbat celebration centered around a seated, kosher (RcBc) vegetarian feast, by chefs including Beejhy Barhany, Jake Cohen, Joan Nathan and Adeena Sussman will feature live music and entertainment, and will be a night all about Jewish joy and unity.

Doors will open at 5:45 PM. We need you seated by the start of dinner to break the record!
