Drawing on fascinating photographs from the Sankey Photograph Archive and the Barrow Archive Centre, this talk will uncover the stories of the buildings. See how these pubs were and contimue to be an important part of everyday life.
Focusing on the King's Arms, the Duke of Edinburgh and the Harbour Inn, Jean will explore their origins, why they were built where they were, and their importance to the the town.
