General Workshop Outline

Welcome & Introductions
We’ll start by getting to know each other and setting the tone for a creative, supportive learning space.

Part 1 – Composition Essentials
Through clear explanations, visual examples, and interactive discussion, I’ll introduce the key principles of photographic composition. You’re welcome to ask questions, share your thoughts, and contribute your own insights.

Short Refreshment Break

Part 2 – Play Time: From Theory to Practice
Now it’s your turn to put the theory into action. You’ll be out photographing, either following set themes I provide or exploring your own creative direction. I’ll be there to offer guidance, personalised feedback, and practical tips to help you achieve your vision.

Constructive Feedback & Reflection
We’ll review your images together in a relaxed, non-judgemental way. I’ll highlight what’s working, suggest fresh approaches, and encourage you to think about how you applied composition techniques in your shots.

Wrap-Up & Next Steps
We’ll close by summarising the day’s key themes, hearing your feedback, and exploring ideas for future workshops tailored to your creative journey.

Handouts

After the end of the workshop I will be sending you e-handouts by email

Camera guidelines
