Passengers Exhibition / Opening Celebration

Join us for the opening celebration of Passengers that sets the stage for next years contemporary artist fair Arcade. Echoing the fairs ethos, Passesngers expands upon notions of space and liminality that cross over into our interior lives. Arcades, tunnels, and passageways are reframed here as living symbols that mirror the complexities of the human condition: our desire to cross barriers, transition between identities, histories, and inner states. We are all passengers in motion— traversing architectures seen and unseen in the pursuit of connection and progression. This exhibition positions the threshold not as a limit, but as a generative site: where transformation is possible, where what was and what will be, can meet.

Passengers examines the personal, geographical, material and temporal ways that the artists in this exhibition articulate the thresholds through which we journey, physically and metaphysically. Echoing Walter Benjamin’s vision, this exhibition invites you into a shared, evolving space of access, connection and discovery.

To enjoy on the night will be cocktails by Maestro Dobel Tequila and signature scents by Nosu perfumers.

Parallel, together with exhibiting artists, will donate 20% of all sales proceeds to non-profits and charities that foreground social and environmental impact, chosen by the artists.
