The Inclusion in Science Conference brings together leading voices from across the sector to explore what truly inclusive Science education looks like—grounded in current national research and informed by real classroom practice. Throughout the day, we will examine the full breadth of inclusion, including gender equity, cultural and ethnic diversity, SEND provision, and wider barriers that shape learners’ experiences in Science.
The morning will feature a keynote address from a core sector leader and a choice of practical workshops designed to deepen understanding and strengthen inclusive practice.
At lunchtime, delegates are invited to explore our Inclusion Marketplace—a vibrant space showcasing supportive resources, innovative tools, and organisations committed to improving access and engagement in Science.
During the afternoon, we will shine a spotlight on inclusion across our city, hearing from local leaders who will share powerful case studies. Through the eyes of children themselves, we will consider what inclusion feels like, looks like, and means within the Science classroom, and how educators can ensure every learner is seen, supported, and able to succeed.
This conference offers a unique opportunity to connect, reflect, and gain practical insights that elevate inclusive Science for all.
