While we’ll be in a colder month in January, Brazil will be gearing up for Carnaval with the southern hemisphere heat in full force. Join us for a trip to the tropics, Frugal Foodies style, as we cook a variety of Brazilian dishes from across this huge and diverse nation. Fresh fruit, black beans, cheese bread, stew, and fritters may well find their way onto the menu as well as many treatments of the wonderful avocado. So forget the cold and samba to the sights and sounds of a Brazilian summer!
