Friday Feeling [SATURDAY EDITION: 90-00s Hip-Hop & R&B]

Expect the same early evening of 90s-00s hip-hop & R&B, but in a penthouse club with a newly installed funktion one sound system.

The Venue

We're happy to be at The Club by Mr. Purple, which is a on the 14th floor of Hotel Indigo Lower East Side. For those who haven't been, it's an impeccably designed club space with west-facing skyline windows. Take a video tour here.

A nostalgic medley of throwback hip-hop & R&B (80s-00s).

About Matinée

Love to party, but also love a good night’s rest? (Looking at you millennials 👀)

With Matinée, you can have both.

It’s a “night time” dance party that lets you have a wild night out…and be home by 11pm.

The party starts at 5pm, peaks at 8, over at 10. Oh and we serve pizza around 7:30pm to give you a second wind.

The Matinée Mission

Nightlife pretty much only caters to 20 somethings. Matinée wants to change that.

We’re working to create a space where our fellow Millennials (and beyond) can step away from adult responsibilities and let loose for a while – creating memories with old friends and hopefully make some new ones.
