Creative Aging: Art Museum Explorations

Free 8-session workshop for artists 55+

Explore the art and the inner workings of the Utah Museum of Fine arts in this unique 8 session workshop. Creative Aging Art Museum Explorations will delve into the magic as well as some of the nut and bolts of an art museum. Projects will include responding to your favorite artwork, a large-scale watercolor of a museum pest, create a 3D object out of clay with a base and mount, and design your own mini museum exhibition.

Priority will be given to participants who have never taken a Creative Aging workshop at the UMFA.

All materials provided. This workshop is free for anyone 55+, registration is required. We know things come up, but please plan carefully so we can keep this programming free!
