A social value exchange for non-for-profits and businesses interested in community led sustainable and environmental impact

Join local businesses, charities, and community groups for a relaxed, practical, free event all about working together to strengthen our town and support a more sustainable future.

This meet-up brings together people who want to build meaningful social value partnerships that support local people, benefit the local environment, and creates sustainable positive change - plus a delicious locally sourced lunch included!

Examples of social value partnerships include: sharing skills and expertise, donated spaces or resources, and offering volunteer time - with both businesses and community groups bringing strengths that help each other achieve greater community, social and environmental impact.

During the event - held at The Green Room, Folkestone - you’ll hear from both sides of the partnership:

  • Local businesses sharing what they look for in community partnerships, their aims around social and environmental impact, and examples of successful collaborations.
  • Charity and community leaders explaining their priorities, what support makes the biggest difference, and real stories of how working with businesses has helped them grow and thrive.

Networking

After the panel discussion, there’ll be plenty of time for open networking, friendly conversations, and making new connections.

Whether you're a large or small business wanting to contribute locally, or a charity/community group looking to form new relationships, this event gives you the space to meet people, swap ideas, and spark partnerships that create real community benefit - while supporting a greener, more resilient local area.
